These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of TanukiGolf, the service operated at tanuki.golf (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
You retain ownership of the tournament names, team names, scores, and other content you submit ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process it for the purpose of operating the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring your User Content does not violate any law or third-party rights. We may remove User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.
The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed annually through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
The Service, including its design, code, branding, logo, and features, is owned by TanukiGolf. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission. Your User Content remains yours, subject to the license in Section 4.
You may delete your account at any time by emailing michael@tanuki.golf. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately, but Sections 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10 will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OF SCORING, HANDICAP CALCULATIONS, OR ANY OTHER CONTENT. USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TANUKIGOLF AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR DAMAGES FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Minnesota, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms at this URL and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
